I build software systems. Over the years, I've shipped projects, worked with teams, and learned what actually matters when you're trying to get something out the door.
Here's what I've figured out:
- Speed beats perfection. Every time. You can't learn from code that's still in your head.
- Constraints are features. Limited resources force better decisions. Unlimited budget leads to bloated systems.
- The best code is the code that ships. Working software teaches you more than perfect architecture docs.
- Most technical discussions are about risk tolerance. Once you see this, meetings get shorter.
What I'm Building
Currently: Private. Will share when it's worth your attention.
How I Work
I consult with teams who need to ship faster and break less. Selective. Results-driven.
If you need someone to write a 40-page architecture document, I'm not your guy. If you need someone to ship a working system in 2 weeks, let's talk.
